Our Role As Store Space and Grade Planner your role will be focused on analysing department level performance across our retail estate and make recommendations to optimise space, grading and commercial returns. You will lead space and grade planning of new store openings and support Franchise store and E-concession planning. What you'll be doing Store Grading • Develop and maintain the store grading framework based on sales, space, demographics and customer profile data, • Review grading seasonally and make recommendations based on performance analysis, • Support new store openings and refits with space and grading recommendations Space Planning & Optimisation • Use data-driven insights to identify opportunities to reallocate space between departments and optimise product mix by store to maximise commercial return per square foot, • Set and optimise target options and sales densities by grade and department, • Support planning of product mix and options for Outlets, Franchisees & E-concessions Performance Analysis & Reporting • Produce post-implementation reviews of space and grade changes, measuring impact on sales, profit and stock holding and use to inform future planning decisions, • Produce weekly analysis and reporting down to store level monitoring sales, profit and RPF by department, • Produce ad hoc reporting for new store launches and refits Cross-Functional Collaboration • Work closely with Merchandising teams to ensure product level cataloguing is optimised within space and option targets set, • Liase with Retail Operations to communicate space, grade and cataloguing changes effectively to stores, • Collaborate with Finance and Property on business cases for new stores or relocations, • Partner with visual merchandising and retail operations to ensure store layouts reflect commercial priorities, • Undertake regular store visits and follow up clear actionable plans, • Understand, prioritise and work to critical dates and deadlines in the planning process The Skills And Experience You’ll Need • Proven experience in retail space planning, store grading or merchandise planning, • Excellent numerical and analytical ability, • Relevant systems knowledge e.g. Excel, Power BI What we’ll offer you At The White Company, we value our employees for always going the extra mile for every one of our customers; we reward this with great benefits and competitive salaries. • Discount -Up to 50% discount and access to regular Sample Sales, • Holiday - 25 days rising to 28 with length of service, • Holiday Buy – opportunity to buy up to 5 days holiday, • Pension Scheme - enrolled in our Group Personal Pension schemes upon joining the business., • Bonus - In addition to our competitive salaries, all our employees are entitled to join a discretionary bonus scheme (based on policy eligibility), • Perkplace Benefits Platform – offering a variety of discounts across well-being and lifestyle, • Wagestream Money Management app - access to Wagestream gives you power over your pay and supports financial wellbeing, • Continued Development – We offer structured support from our own in-house Learning and Development Hub, • Salary Sacrifice scheme for Electric vehicles (dependent on grade and meeting policy eligibility), • Continued Development - Inclusion on our Leadership Development Programme (eligibility for contracts of 6 months plus Grade D & E roles only), • Continued Development – We offer structured support from our own in-house Learning and Development Hub, • Private Healthcare with additional Babylon Digital Healthcare (based on contract duration), • Life Assurance Additional Benefits • Fruit basket daily, • Tea and coffee provided, • Working from Home - option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays, • Social - Christmas party/social events throughout the year, • Seasonal Sample Sales, • Volunteer Day - with a charity of your choice, • Great Location - Close to transport links - over ground Shepherds Bush station /underground White City & Wood Lane stations.
