School Office Administrator & Co Registrar Salary: £35,000 - £41,000 Based in Ravenscourt Park, West London Office Based Role Hours: Term Time Only - 9am - 5pm An independent preparatory school in West London is seeking a professional, organised, and approachable SchoolOffice Administrator & Co Registrar to join their busy and welcoming School Office. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a thriving school community, supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the school while playing a key role in the admissions process for Reception pupils. Key Responsibilities • Provide administrative support to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the School Office, • Act as a first point of contact for pupils, parents, staff, and visitors, • Handle enquiries in person, by phone, email, and video with discretion and excellent customer service, • Manage incoming calls, redirect queries appropriately, and ensure accurate message-taking, • Oversee and maintain the School's Management Information System (iSAMS), including attendance, pupil records, reporting cycles, and data accuracy, • Update school calendars and coordinate communications, including weekly parent mailings, • Support the administration of whole-school events such as photographs, vaccinations, and uniform fittings, • Manage enquiries and the admissions process for Reception entry, • Organise Open Mornings, including bookings and parent engagement, • Coordinate interview schedules, prepare offer letters, manage admissions documentation and liaise with feeder nurseries and previous schools for references and safeguarding information, • Support on boarding of new pupils and communication with incoming parents, • Previous school administrative experience, within an education setting, • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a warm and approachable manner, • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines, • High level of discretion, professionalism, and attention to detail, • Confidence using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and digital systems, • Experience with school systems (e.g. iSAMS), • Pension - Contributory - 5% employee / 6 % employer, • Term time only-Working 34 weeks in the year + 5 inset days and 14 additional days agreed with the Head, • Cycle to work scheme, • Employee Assistance Program We practice a diverse and inclusive recruitment process that ensures equal opportunity for all we work with, irrespective of race, sexual orientation, mental or physical disability, age or gender.
