Enthusiastic, friendly piano teacher required to represent us and work on a part-time self-employed basis to teach in students' homes. There are a number of students looking for an immediate start, but would build over the course of a year so we are looking for somebody to take a long-term approach to taking on new students. Depending on the candidate's availability, this could build to being around 15+ hours work. The majority of lessons would be taking place outside of school hours. This work would only suit somebody already living local to the Surrey area. Successful applicants will be asked to obtain DBS clearance for working with children. Your own vehicle will be required in order to access students' homes - we would be aiming to keep travel times short by assigning students near to where you live. Pay rates for lessons taught at students' homes are: £20.00 per 30 minutes £34.10 per 60 minutes On occasion, some lessons may end up being online in which case fees are reduced by £5.90 per lesson. At least one year teaching experience would be preferred, but we would welcome applications from those looking to gain experience too.
