Background We are currently looking for qualified football coaches with experience of coaching children aged 11 to 14 to attend the Gothia World Youth Cup International Tournament in Gothenburg. The trip will be a week-long with departures to Gothenburg on 10th and 11th July 2026. The final return flights will be on 18th or July July 2026. Flights will be confirmed upon appointment. Successful applicants would be allocated a role as Team Leader (Team Manager) who would take overall responsibility for the team in Gothenburg. In addition to the trip to Gothia Cup, we run a residential Training Camp during the Easter school holidays, which allow the players to train and prepare for the tournament. This is optional for the Team Leaders although the Training Camp provides a chance to meet and work on the training pitch with your team in preparation for the tournament. The Role The role will involve coaching the Prep Schools Representative Team, known as the Prep Schools’ Lions, during their trip to the Gothia World Youth Cup in Gothenburg in July 2026. Further details about the tournament can be found at The team is made up of the most talented players aged 11-14 who attend Independent Schools in the South East of England. Trials for the team were held in the autumn, with around 1,000 boys and girls being nominated by their Schools to attend. The set-up is run by teachers from the independent school sector. The aim is to provide an opportunity for players to represent their region, express their talent in an environment where performance is put ahead of results and the coaching staff encourage an exciting and attractive style of play. Further details about the set-up can be found at Remuneration Training Camp: The Camp is residential over two nights (three days). Team Leaders will receive £400 for attending. All food and accommodation (single room) will be provided free of charge. Gothia World Youth Cup: All flights, accommodation, food and transport in Gothenburg will be arranged and paid for on your behalf. The team will stay in an independent school in Gothenburg where we take advantage of the facilities including sports hall and canteen to create a professional training camp environment. Staff, along with the players, will be required to bring a blow up mattress. All team equipment and team kit will be supplied, and you will receive a payment to cover any additional expenses you might incur. Team Leaders will be paid £600 for the trip to Gothia Cup. Job Description Fulham FC Foundation (FFCF) are currently seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and committed person to take up the position of Community Coach. Reporting directly to our Operations Officers the Community Coach is responsible for delivering high-quality community-based activity across a variety of FFCF programmes and delivering across key boroughs of work such as; Hammersmith & Fulham, Merton, Kingston, Wandsworth, Lambeth and Surrey. This role involves session planning & delivery, building positive relationships with stakeholders and engaging the local community to encourage participation across FFCF programmes.
