Overview An Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing the construction of buildings and structures. The role combines creative design with technical knowledge and regulatory compliance, ensuring that projects are functional, safe, sustainable, and aesthetically pleasing while meeting client needs and budgetary constraints. Key Duties and Responsibilities An Architect’s primary responsibilities typically include: Design & Planning Developing architectural concepts, plans, and detailed drawings using CAD and BIM software. Creating designs that are functional, safe, sustainable, and visually appealing. Preparing specifications, feasibility studies, and project proposals. Client & Stakeholder Engagement Meeting with clients to determine requirements, budgets, and objectives. Presenting design proposals and obtaining client approvals. Turkish Speaking Preferable Typical Work Environment Architects usually split their time between office-based design work, client meetings, and site visits.
