Building Surveyor – Social Housing The role will involve carrying out detailed property inspections, preparing schedules of work, providing accurate costings, and supporting contract delivery across a wide variety of retrofit projects. Key Responsibilities • Undertake detailed surveys of occupied and void properties, • Prepare accurate specifications, schedules of work, and cost estimates, • Provide valuations in line with contract requirements, • Monitor works on-site to ensure compliance with specifications and KPIs, • Identify building defects, risks, and remedial actions, • Produce clear technical reports and maintain records on SharePoint, • Work closely with contract managers, operatives, and clients, • Act as a key contact for tenants and stakeholders on technical matters About You • Proven experience working in social housing, • Previous experience in surveying within housing, maintenance, or construction, • Knowledge of retrofit works and planned maintenance, • Full UK driving licence
