Three Rivers/Watford/Welwyn Hatfield Role Summary: As a ZingHub Activator, you will deliver our innovative, adapted sports and exercise sessions to diverse groups of participants. You'll receive comprehensive training and ongoing support to confidently lead sessions and adapt them to individual needs, ensuring safe, enjoyable, and meaningful experiences. This role offers flexibility, allowing you to schedule sessions around your other commitments while making a tangible difference in the lives of others. What You’ll Do: 1. Deliver engaging and adapted sports and exercise sessions to participants of varying abilities in a variety of settings (care homes, community centres, rehabilitation units, even libraries!). 2. Adapt session delivery to meet the unique needs of each participant, ensuring safety and maximizing enjoyment and benefit. 3. Support participants, fostering confidence and encouraging physical, cognitive, and social improvements. 4. Collaborate with your Manager and colleagues to plan and deliver impactful programs. 5. Travel to various session locations. Note – Full driving license required. 6. Participate in initial training and ongoing professional development opportunities. 7. Utilise basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar) for virtual meetings, communication etc. Skills and Experiences: Essential: A genuine passion for helping others and creating positive experiences. Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a supportive, participant-focused approach. Confidence in leading groups and adapting to different situations. Strong organisational skills, self-motivation, punctuality, and reliability. Willingness to travel to various locations and commit to training and development. Basic computer literacy (e.g., Microsoft Office) or willingness to learn. Desirable: Experience working in care, coaching, fitness, or related fields. Relevant qualifications in health, fitness, or social care. Experience working with individuals with diverse needs and abilities.
