Bao's goal is to create restaurants that offer a different experience to each other, inspired by our founder's upbringing and travels around Asia. Each restaurant within the group has a unique menu and a different story. The Position At BAO, we care about doing things properly - from the quality of our ingredients to how we run our kitchens. This role is all about consistency, standards, and leading by example. You’ll work closely with the Executive Chef to deliver our menus to the highest standard, manage the day-to-day kitchen operation, and support your team to do their best work. This is a key leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, quality-led environment and is looking to take the next step in their culinary career. Your role is to provide the practical support that allows me to try and just get on with my life. One day you may be playing football with me in the nearby park the next we could be going out to eat Lunch or Dinner as well as supporting me with showering and a lot of other stuff like cutting my fingernails and toenails at home another could involve playing football at a local park, meeting friends who know about my whole situation, an event we may be going to or travelling. You shall assist me with a number of activities: • Personal care including showering myself everywhere as well as just daily living, • Socialising, activities, and travel this is where your driving licence comes into play, • Driving me to a variety of different places such as parks and cafes such as Costa Coffee, • Cleaning and household tasks, • General Therapy and Stretches, • Practical organisation to help me out specifically with my level of independence such as tying my shoelaces, zipping things up to help gain back certain aspects my level of independence. Who am I looking for? This could particularly suit a recent graduate looking for something different for a year or two while considering their own next move. An interest or background in could give provide us with a plenty in common, but a degree is not essential. We're looking for someone who is: Friendly, positive, sociable and approachable as well as being an easy person to get along with flexible and comfortable with spontaneous changes of plan proactive, organised and able to use their initiative somebody who is physically fit enough for the practical elements of the role • Calm, patience, mature and responsible than I am, • Cleaning and doing some of my food shopping, • Fluent in English with great communication skills.
