Each day will vary however the core components of your role will include: • Engage with patients who have attended a surgery consultation, discussing the life-changing benefits of vision correction surgery., • Provide clear and supportive guidance, addressing patient concerns and overcoming objections., • Manage your own diary, scheduling follow-up calls with patients and ensuring that all appointments are booked correctly., • Maintain a high level of professionalism, empathy, and care while building trust with patients., • Ensure that all patient information is accurately recorded and that patient queries are handled in a timely manner., • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build rapport with patients., • Achieve and exceed performance targets related to patient conversion rates, appointment scheduling, and follow-up success., • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), including conversion rates and patient satisfaction, ensuring that goals are consistently met., • Bonus and team incentives., • Ongoing training and development opportunities and career progression., • A supportive and collaborative work environment. General Overview This is a role for someone who is passionate about solving domestic property subsidence issues to the highest technical standard. The role covers all aspects of Engineering for our residential subsidence repair business. It is a hands-on role in all aspects, including site visits and being personally responsible for deliverables including supporting our Global businesses. Key tasks include: Accurately diagnosing subsidence properties both structurally and geotechnically and creating technically correct treatment plans, Feasibility of schemes, design, design checking, quality assurance of all residential designs, quote quality checking and advising the operations department on engineering matters. Qualifications • Educated to degree standard in Civil & Structural Engineering, M Eng / MSc (Eng) preferable, • A track record of designing geotechnical solutions, preferably in domestic subsidence space, • IT skills across multiple platforms - Google Suite/MS Office/Salesforce/Plaxis, • Experience in retaining wall analysis and design., • Member of ICE / IStructE Experience • c10 years experience in engineering, • Variety of project sizes and complexities (all causations of subsidence), • Ideally coming from a contracting and / or consulting business and / or loss adjusting and / or building control with experience in building / foundation engineering and repair. This role requires someone who is used to dealing with multiple tasks at a time with strong ICT skills, preferably Salesforce. Experience of dealing directly with both customers and internal stakeholders. They will have a good knowledge of building techniques and design. Someone who can work under pressure, solve problems and is a good team player., • Ability to work with speed to issue design and QA approvals, • Ability and willingness to carry out virtual inspections of residential dwellings to diagnose the problem Responsibilities • Visiting properties online (80%), • Visiting properties in person (20%), • Diagnosing properties, • Creating designs, • Technical support of Area Managers, • Training of Area Managers, • Proactive customer work to educate the market, • Developing feasibility schemes, • Designing a suitable repair for buildings that have suffered from subsidence, • Checking of internal design in accordance with in house design guidelines, • Checking the quality of quotations in lines with in house quoting guidelines, • Signing off Certificates of Structural Adequacy., • Overseas support during holiday periods, • Working with operations to learn how designs perform on site, • Supervising retreatment works on site, • Customer facing meetings (CPDs, account reviews), • Supporting Head of Social Housing and Head of New insurance business in business development
