You will be part of a Core Team of Multitradesmen meaning you’ll learn both First & Second Fix Trades/Skills such as Carpentry, Bricklaying, Concreting, Roofing, Plasterboarding, Insulating, Logistics etc… No experience needed however Experience is preferred. Must be based in or near to Maidstone OR Must be able to Drive yourself to pick up point or job. Job is Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Weekend work can be available if Desired.
Skills/Experience required: Able to work to a high standard of work. Punctual & great communication skills Able to work at heights. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Responsibilities and Duties: include: Perform a variety of skilled trades duties in the construction, repair, and maintenance of buildings and facilities. Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks. Repair and replace roofs. Plumb and install or repair plumbing fixtures. Paint interior and exterior surfaces Carpentry work, including framing, trim work, and cabinetry installation. Fencing Works Flooring works Masonry work, including bricklaying and concrete work. Job Type: Full time CSCS (preferred) Driving Licence (preferred) Responsibilities: - Assist with various construction tasks as directed by the supervisor - Load and unload materials and equipment at the construction site - Operate hand and power tools to complete assigned tasks - Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and materials - Dig trenches, backfill excavations, and compact earth to prepare for construction - Assist in the installation of construction materials, such as scaffolding, concrete forms, and temporary structures - Follow all safety guidelines and regulations on the job site Skills: - Ability to follow instructions and work well in a team environment - Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks - good knowledge of construction tools and equipment - Good communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
