Are you the person everyone can rely on? The one who notices what needs doing before anyone asks. The person who builds trust naturally, whether you're speaking with a CEO, welcoming a new starter, supporting a contractor, or helping a colleague solve a problem. If you're organised, proactive, kind and genuinely care about making people's day easier, we'd love to hear from you. At Hestia Guest Services, we create workplaces where people feel supported, valued and cared for. Named after the Greek goddess of home and hospitality, Hestia exists to bring warmth, professionalism and exceptional service into some of London's most prestigious workplaces. We are looking for a Business Support Host to join our team at the Head Office of prestigious luxury retail brand, playing a vital role in keeping the workplace running smoothly behind the scenes. The role is working 32 hours a week, Monday to Thursday. Why this role matters While others may see mail, lockers, stationery, facilities requests and office logistics, we see something much bigger. Every parcel delivered correctly. Every workspace ready for use. Every event set up perfectly. Every colleague supported quickly and professionally. These small moments create a workplace where people can do their best work. As a Business Support Host, you'll be at the heart of making that happen. What you'll be doing No two days are quite the same, but your responsibilities will include: • Managing incoming and outgoing mail, parcels and courier services, • Supporting office logistics, workplace moves and operational projects, • Maintaining stationery and workplace supplies so teams always have what they need, • Managing employee locker allocation and administration, • Supporting meeting and event setups, • Assisting with facilities requests, contractor visits and workplace maintenance activities, • Completing regular workplace checks and proactively identifying opportunities for improvement, • Building trusted relationships with employees, suppliers and service partners, • Delivering every task with accuracy, professionalism and care What we're looking for We're far more interested in the person than a specific background. You'll be successful in this role if you are: • Conscientious and dependable, doing what you say you'll do, • Proactive and able to spot opportunities to improve things before issues arise, • Kind, approachable and naturally helpful, • Trustworthy and professional with excellent personal standards, • Comfortable building relationships with everyone, from senior leaders to frontline service partners, • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities effectively, • Flexible and willing to support wherever the operation needs you, • Proud of delivering work to a consistently high standard Experience in workplace services, facilities, hospitality, front of house, office support, customer service, logistics or operations would be beneficial, but attitude and mindset are just as important. You'll be joining a supportive team that genuinely cares about each other, celebrates success and encourages everyone to grow and develop. Jornada parcial
    London

We are looking for a self-employed to make hot sauce & chilli jam. Though the hours are extremely flexible (you can come and make jam anytime you wish as long as our inventory is kept stocked up), you MUST be able to commute regularly to our kitchen in Hackney Wick, so East London candidates are preferred. Shift times are minimum 4 hours to get real cooking done and up to 8-10 hours a day. We estimate you will start with 10 hours per week but it can grow. Trial period is paid at £13.50 while training, then £16 afterwards. If you are training someone else, £18/hour. WE PAY WEEKLY WITH INVOICE! EVERY MONDAY WE PAY YOU THE PREVIOUS HOUR'S. You must have excellent attention to detail and be highly organised, as with batch cooking the stakes are high: one missing ingredient and you will have to chuck the entire batch (100+ bottles). Cook times are short and recipes are "simple" but perfect timings are everything so you must keep a watchful eye on all four times. No jar can go out with a crack or a hair. You must have previous batching and quality control experience. You will be expected to: • Manage 4 induction hobs at once, • Lift heavy pots and pour hot liquids into containers, • Bottle and lid jars (you will have support from a sous-chef), • Clean pots, pans, kitchen surfaces and generally maintain a clean kitchen up to food safety standards, • Have great communication -- we are a small business and looking to create a community and a fun vibe This is an extremely fun and flexible job for the right person. We are looking for someone highly energetic who is looking to grow with an exciting, young, small team. There is potentially parking on-site. There are additional work opportunities involved at London Minimum Wage (labeling, organising, packing orders) and bike courier work. Job Type: Freelance Application question(s): • Give us an example of what you think is an unforgivable error for a chef who has just started a new role, • What exactly about our job description caught your eye?, • Describe your kitchen personality in a couple of sentences. :) Work Location: In person
