    Speedboat Bar are seeking a Wok Chef to join their team. The successful candidate will be friendly, personable and passionate about all things food and drink. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Wok Chef looking for a new role in an award winning, critically acclaimed group. The Restaurant In partnership with Chef Luke Farrell, Speedboat Bar takes inspiration from the Thai-Chinese restaurants in Bangkok’s Chinatown and the thrilling sport of Speedboat racing along the canals (klongs) of Thailand. The menu explores the ingredients, flavours and techniques that took Luke to Bangkok and its unique foodways; Chinese in origin but now uniquely Thai. A masterclass in wok cooking, roasted meats and spicy sauces, each hinging on the specialist Thai herbs and ingredients cultivated and grown at Luke’s nursery, Ryewater, in Dorset. The bar focuses on sharing Singha beer towers, slushies and chasers; the signature Speedboat cocktails – Snakesblood Negroni; Shop Window Old Fashioned; and Jelly Bia made with frozen Leo Lager; as well as softs such as a Snakefruit soda. The Position We're looking for an experienced Wok Chef to join our kitchen team, creating exceptional dishes and delivering an all-encapsulating experience to our guests. You'll have experience working in a quality kitchen, adhering to standard operating and Health and Safety procedures. The Role: We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team. This is a key role supporting daily kitchen operations and ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness, organisation and hygiene are maintained throughout service. The ideal candidate is positive, efficient and enjoys working as part of a fast-paced hospitality team. Key Responsibilities: Washing dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment during service. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across all kitchen areas. Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required. Managing waste disposal and recycling in line with procedures. Assisting with deliveries and correct storage of stock. Carrying out daily and weekly cleaning tasks. Supporting opening and closing kitchen duties. What We’re Looking For: Strong work ethic and positive attitude. Ability to work efficiently in a busy kitchen environment. Reliable, punctual and team-focused. Weekend availability is essential. Previous kitchen experience is helpful but not required — full training provided. £13.85/hr (£14.80 from May 1st) + Service Charge Part-time and full-time positions available. New MCN is building the next wave of TikTok content channels across beauty, fashion, home, FMCG and more. Think Sheerluxe meets TikTok Shop. These are brand-owned channels, but the content feels creator-led. Our mission is to become the leading super-affiliate in Western markets, creating high-performing TikTok Shop content at scale and working directly with the most viral brands on the platform. We produce a mix of content formats, tailored to each channel and category. This includes product reviews, native selling content, storytelling, and trend-led videos. What works, we scale. What doesn’t, we kill quickly. Over the next 12 months, we’re expanding aggressively across the UK and US, launching multiple content channels focused on promoting best-selling products across multiple categories. About the role We’re hiring an In-House Content Creator to support our growing TikTok content operation. This role will start part-time, with the intention to move full-time as channels and output scale. You’ll be hands-on creating TikTok content daily, both on camera and behind the camera, helping us test products, formats, hooks, and trends across multiple categories. This is a practical, creative role for someone who enjoys experimenting, filming, editing, and learning what actually converts on TikTok.
