Salary: £33k/annum (37.5h contract) + commission Hybrid role: 3 days per week at the company’s HQ in Lewisham, London Role Overview We are looking for a high-performing Sales Executive with proven B2B sales experience to help meet the growing global demand for our IKAWA Sample Roaster for Professionals. This is a hands-on commercial role, reporting into our Head of Sales and Marketing, that blends sales outreach, product demonstrations, customer relationship building, and international travel. You will be confident, enthusiastic, and highly driven, ready to contribute to ambitious growth targets and represent IKAWA in the field. Important: Candidates must be within a comfortable commuting distance to Lewisham and able to work onsite three days per week. This role involves regular international travel at short notice and occasional weekend work for trade shows. Applicants must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK because sponsorship is not available. Key Responsibilities The role includes the following responsibilities but is not limited to: • Present IKAWA’s products to coffee buyers, traders, roasters, and producers around the world, • Manage and engage a dedicated sales pipeline of more than 200 active prospects, • Respond effectively to inbound leads, maintaining fast and high quality communication, • Generate outbound outreach to build a strong, high conversion pipeline, • Bring the value of our product to life through email, phone, virtual demos, and live demonstrations, • Conduct in-person product demonstrations and customer visits in the UK and internationally, • Represent IKAWA at key industry exhibitions and events throughout the year, including some weekends, • Contribute to short term and long term commercial initiatives and improvement projects, • Work closely with account management, marketing, operations, and customer service, • Act as a brand ambassador who champions IKAWA across the coffee industry The ideal Candidate • Minimum two years of B2B sales experience, not retail or shop-floor sales, • Comfortable commuting to Lewisham HQ for three days each week, • Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets, • Strong relationship building and customer engagement skills, • Confident presenting and demonstrating products, both in person and remotely, • Excellent verbal and written communication, • Solid understanding of sales frameworks and pipeline management, • Strong negotiation skills, • Energetic, persistent, and results oriented, • Able to travel internationally at short notice and work occasional weekends for trade shows or other events, • Experience using Hubspot or other similar sales CRM systems Nice to Have • Experience in the specialty coffee industry, coffee equipment sales, green coffee or coffee subscriptions, • Understanding of the Specialty Coffee sector, cupping, flavour profiles and coffee grading knowledge., • Additional business level languages beyond English Why IKAWA?
