Known for delivering reliable, proactive IT support and security-focused solutions, they are looking to expand their technical team with an experienced 3rd Line Engineer. The Role – 3rd Line Engineer This is a hands-on technical role combining high-level support, infrastructure improvement, and project delivery across multiple client environments. You will be responsible for: Providing 3rd line support across a wide range of technologies via remote support, phone, and email Troubleshooting complex technical issues across servers, networks, cloud platforms, and security systems Monitoring and maintaining live client environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance Delivering infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects Supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, server environments, networking, and cybersecurity solutions Managing escalated issues through to full resolution with clear ownership and accountability Working closely with third-party vendors and technology partners Maintaining accurate technical documentation and keeping clients updated throughoutWhat We’re Looking For You’ll be a strong technical problem solver who enjoys working across multiple technologies and delivering excellent service to clients. We’re looking for someone with: Proven experience in a 3rd Line Engineer or Senior Support Engineer role MSP experience preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues clearly to non-technical users Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic ability Strong organisation and the ability to manage your own workload effectively A proactive mindset and genuine passion for IT and continuous learningTechnical Experience Required Experience across most of the following would be highly beneficial: Microsoft stack (Windows Server, Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID) Active Directory, DNS, DHCP Virtualisation (VMware / Hyper-V) Azure and cloud-based infrastructure Exchange (on-premise and hybrid) Backup and disaster recovery solutions (Veeam, Datto, etc.) Networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi) Cybersecurity tools and best practices (Defender, MFA, Intune, EDR) Storage solutions (SAN / NAS / DAS) Exposure to VoIP, endpoint security, and proactive monitoring tools Bonus points for MacOS, iOS, and Android supportWhy Apply?
