IT Analyst – Manchester Up to £34,000 + benefits | 35 hours per week | Hybrid working (1 day from home) Looking to take the next step in your IT support career within a professional, fast-paced environment? This could be the opportunity you’ve been waiting for. We’re working with a respected and long-established law firm to find a proactive IT Analyst to join their Service Team. You’ll play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly by delivering reliable, high-quality IT support to colleagues across the firm. Experience within a law firm or professional services environment would be a strong advantage. What you’ll be doing: As a core member of the IT Service Team, you’ll be the go-to person for technical support—handling a mix of queries via phone, email, and in person. You’ll: Take ownership of support tickets from start to finish Troubleshoot and resolve a wide range of IT issues Deliver a high standard of service in line with SLAs and KPIs Support user and system administration tasks Get involved in IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a seamless IT experience across the firm This role is primarily based in Manchester, with occasional travel to Liverpool and London offices. Tech you’ll work with: You’ll gain hands-on experience across a varied and modern tech stack, including: Windows Desktop & Server environments Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel) Active Directory End-user devices (laptops, mobiles, printers) Networking basics (patching, switches, cabling) There’s also the opportunity to build expertise in legal systems such as iManage and Proclaim. What we’re looking for: We’re interested in someone who combines solid technical ability with a genuinely customer-focused mindset. You’ll likely have: At least 1 year of IT support experience (ideally in professional services) Strong communication skills across multiple channels Experience working in a structured, SLA-driven environment A proactive, organised approach to managing workloads Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and a team-oriented mindset An understanding of data protection and confidentiality Working pattern & benefits 35-hour working week (Monday–Friday) Rotating shifts between 08:00–18:00 Paid out-of-hours support rota Hybrid working (1 day per week from home) Ongoing training, development, and project exposure Qualifications (desirable, not essential) MCSA, MCP or similar certifications Or working towards CompTIA A+, ITIL Foundation, or equivalent If you’re looking for a role where you can develop your skills, gain exposure to projects, and make a real impact—apply now
