Housekeeper / Family PA Rural Surrey (Farnham) – Full-Time, Live-In (Separate Accommodation Provided) Private family based in Farnham, Surrey, seeking an experienced, organised and proactive Housekeeper / Family PA to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of their home. Father and three teenage daughters (aged 14, 17 and 19), + mid sized friendly dog ( not ‘hands on’ childcare). Varied role suited to someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in creating a well-managed environment. Live-in basis and includes a newly refurbished, fully private two-bedroom cottage within the grounds. All bills are included, and a car is available. Current housekeeper (for 7 years) is available for handover period The Role This role covers aspects of housekeeping, family support, dog care and light PA duties. Household Management • Managing / maintaining the main living areas – especially kitchen / diner / utility etc, • Laundry (washing, ironing and wardrobe organisation), • Weekly house clean and as required daily to maintain tidy spaces., • Seasonal preparation organisation – (Christmas / easter / party / summer pool house etc), • Managing household supplies and co ordinating recurring tradesman support ( eg window cleaning / gardeners) Cooking & Food Management • Weekly meal planning and associated food shopping / deliveries, • Preparing 2–3 family meals per week, • Batch cooking for weekends and occasional guests, • Larder / freezer organisation and stock rotation Family Support – driving and being present • School pick-ups (2–3 per week) in the mid to late afternoons, • Activity drop-offs and collections – slightly higher frequency in school holidays, • Errands into local town etc and lifts to / from places ( e.g. station) - all local Dog Care • Daily walk - various local options (approximately 1 hour), • Feeding and general care ( e.g. groomers and vet appointments), • Occasional pet sitting during weekends or holidays when family away PA & Administrative Duties • Managing household emails and bills (as required), • Booking appointments and household services, • Birthday and small event planning & organisation / presents etc, • Holiday research and travel booking support, • General Admin support e.g. vehicles taxed / MOT etc ., • Minor house projects ( e.g. new photo books or pictures framing etc). The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: • Highly organised and detail-oriented, • Warm, discreet, proactive and trustworthy, • Confident around teenagers and comfortable with dogs, • Experienced in a similar private household role, • A confident driver with a full, clean driving licence (essential), • DBS checked (or willing to obtain one) Please note: This role is not suitable for candidates with pets or children living with them.
