We are looking for a dependable and confident Retail Store Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the shop. The Role You will be trusted to manage the store independently, deliver friendly and knowledgeable customer service, maintain accurate stock records and ensure the shop remains organised, secure and presentable throughout the day.This is a hands-on position suited to someone who is comfortable approaching customers, recommending fragrances and taking ownership of the store while the business owner is away. Main Responsibilities • Opening and closing the store securely, • Welcoming customers and understanding their fragrance preferences, • Recommending suitable perfumes and confidently closing sales, • Managing perfume testing and ensuring testers are used responsibly, • Operating the till, card terminal and receipt system, • Accurately processing cash and card transactions, • Completing opening and closing cash checks, • Monitoring stock levels and reporting low-stock products, • Receiving, checking and organising deliveries, • Keeping shelves, testers and displays clean and well presented, • Maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the store, • Handling customer questions, complaints and returns professionally, • Following store policies, security procedures and loss-prevention measures, • Preparing and serving the store’s iced coffee and matcha drinks when required, • Providing the owner with clear updates on sales, stock and any issues during the day The ideal candidate will be: • Reliable, punctual and trustworthy, • Confident working independently, • Friendly and approachable without being overly pushy, • Comfortable setting polite boundaries with customers, • Organised and attentive to detail, • Confident handling cash, stock and store keys, • Able to communicate clearly and recommend products, • Genuinely interested in fragrance, beauty or luxury retail, • Comfortable learning about Arabian perfume brands and scent profiles Previous retail, fragrance, beauty or supervisory experience is preferred. Good Health Pharmacies Ltd is hiring two Community Outreach Representatives for a four-week paid pilot in Tottenham. PAY AND HOURS • Four-week fixed-term PAYE employment, • 24 paid hours per week, normally four 6-hour daytime shifts agreed in advance, • £14.50 per hour, • Up to £100 per week quality bonus, based only on attendance, accurate records, training, safe conduct and compliance, • Pre-approved business travel reimbursed, • Paid training and a paid supervised assessment shift, • Statutory holiday entitlement THE ROLE You will speak respectfully with local residents at their doorsteps and in community locations. Using approved factual materials, you will explain our pharmacy services and signpost interested residents to an official pharmacy QR or contact route. This is not a commission-sales role. Residents remain free to choose any pharmacy. Pay and bonuses are never linked to patient nominations, prescriptions, medicine items, personal details or conversions.
