About Client Intelligence The Client Intelligence offering is a cornerstone of the Coalition Greenwich product suite. It enables banks to track the performance of their client franchise, identify key risks and opportunities in real time, and leverage direct client insights to help close gaps. With information sourced both from banks, as well as their clients, the product is the industry standard, used by senior leaders around the globe to optimize their client franchise. It is one of the most mature products in our business. About The Role We are looking for someone to turn our customers’ problems into solutions that delight them. As a Client Intelligence Product Manager, you will be the owner of multiple data and analytics development initiatives. Working closely with the customer and the technology, business, relationship management, operations, data science and governance teams you will: discover the underlying unmet needs from the customer, business stakeholders and relationship managers; define and agree the outcomes and acceptance criteria; orchestrate the design of the prototype; help architect a solution deliver analytics products; manage its development through the PDLC, and; build measurement and product improvements processes. You will be part of a small team of technically-minded product owners who are in the process of transforming the organisation and its products into an end-to-end digital experience through the development of a componentised software stack. What the job involves: Reporting to the Head of Client Intelligence and/or the Chief Product Officer depending on the candidate, you will: • Own the Client Intelligence product roadmap, including enhancements to current product lines and a backlog of new service line opportunities., • Design and own a business value framework to assess and prioritise the backlog of work for Client Intelligence., • Apply appropriate methodologies to workshops with business stakeholders and external customers alongside the relationship managers, internal customers, sponsors and users to understand their problems, unmet needs and pain points., • Design and facilitate sessions with relevant stakeholders to build processes, data pipelines and new analytics that fully meet their unmet needs., • Be a customer champion internally to clearly and convincingly articulate your customers’ needs throughout the organisation in service of building the right solution., • Be the internal evangelist of your product, ensuring internal stakeholders are aligned with the vision and are actively using the tools developed to drive client value., • Produce and own high-quality documentation and communication to internal teams and customers., • Proactively manage the development of the software through our Agile process and reactively troubleshooting and problem-solve issues., • Define and track key metrics for the long-term success of the product, learning from the data to prioritise features and enhancements., • Assist a wider team who own other transformation initiatives across technology, data science, operations, employee skills, governance and risk., • You will have demonstrable experience in hands-on digital transformation roles where you co-designed the software and managed them through their lifecycle., • You will be a proven expert in prioritising and running a large backlog of work to metronomic completion through the whole PDLC., • You have previous work experience in B2B financial services (such as in capital markets, investment banking, corporate or institutional banking or similar), or benchmarking analytics., • Your natural and adroit stakeholder management to both internal and external stakeholders makes you excellent at the prioritisation of a complex book of work., • You have significant experience in B2B data processing product management with a demonstrable track record in shipping products as part of a large team., • You are excellent at putting structure around ambiguity and are passionate about the need for organisation and precision to efficiently execute the task at hand., • You have excellent client-facing interpersonal skills and excel at traversing from high-level concepts to low-level technical detail across highly complex systems, and can tailor your communication from the C-Suite to the most junior individuals in an organization. Nice-to-have: It would be advantageous if you had some of the following: • You have a background in solution architecture, software engineering, software systems architecture, or an education background in computer science., • You are experienced and opinionated about creating and owning Agile product roadmaps., • You can demonstrate a first-hand understanding of a component-based cloud architecture and/or have a good understanding of the concepts and real-world applications of data architecture, transactional and analytical database design concepts and data analytics systems., • A history of successfully working with geographically and culturally diverse teams on large projects., • Experience in the application of Jobs-To-Be-Done and Human Centred Design methodologies in an enterprise setting., • Experience in the application of PROSCI, CCMP or similar change management methodologies., • Familiarity with high-level scripting languages such as Python and R., • Familiarity with UX design using Figma., • Strong PowerPoint skills. You graduated with an undergraduate degree in a technical discipline or used the opportunities available to you within financial services organisations to learn product management and utilised these skills to build and deliver products to customers. Working across a range of different roles, you developed a generalist skillset with an empirical, first-principle mindset, and developed a specialism within analytics, benchmarking and/or data. You are viewed by colleagues as a subject matter expert and flourish when working as part of a high-functioning team, but equally do not shy away from getting your hands dirty when the situation calls for it. You love to use analytics to help tell a story and recognize the danger that being “data rich and insights poor” poses to an organization. You’ve developed the experience and skills to educate and influence senior stakeholders about technology and have a reputation for tenacity and getting things done in large organisations. You believe that there is a large amount of work still to be done in improving how organizations use digital platforms to consumer information, especially in financial services, and you’re passionate, experienced and opinionated about the ways to do that. We’ll let you know if you’re successful within 10 days. Step 3 and/or step 4 will be in-person.
