Role Purpose The Site Delivery Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end delivery of EV charging hub construction projects, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, on budget, and to specification. The role will play a key part in scaling the Zapgo’s rapid and ultra-rapid charging network, working closely with our Site Acquisition, Finance and Network teams. Key Responsibilities Project Delivery • Plan, coordinate, and manage the construction and installation of rapid and ultra-rapid charging hubs, • Oversee multiple concurrent projects across the UK, ensuring delivery milestones are achieved., • Manage our delivery partners to delivery all on-site works, including civils, electrical, signage, and canopies., • Ensure all projects are delivered in line with CDM 2015 regulations and HSE standards., • Lead by example to promote a zero-harm culture, carrying out site audits and safety briefings., • Develop and maintain construction schedules and progress reports using appropriate tools (e.g., MS Project)., • Manage site budgets, monitor costs, and report variances., • Support procurement in contractor selection, tender evaluation, and supplier performance management., • Work collaboratively with internal teams (Site Acquisition, Network, Legal, Marketing, and Finance)., • Manage site-level relationships with landlords, local councils, and utilities., • Ensure smooth handover to Network team, with all testing, commissioning, and documentation completed. Experience & Qualifications Essential: • Proven track record delivering construction or infrastructure projects (EV charging, renewable energy, utilities, highways, or similar)., • Strong knowledge of civils and electrical works, including LV and HV interfaces., • Excellent understanding of CDM 2015, site safety management, and construction quality standards., • Experience managing multiple contractors and multi-site programmes., • Experience in EV charging, power networks, or energy infrastructure., • Qualifications:, • SMSTS or SSSTS, • CSCS (Manager level), • First Aid at Work, • IOSH / NEBOSH Certificate, • Experience with DNO/ICP coordination and OCPP-based charger systems., • Degree or HNC in Civil, Electrical, or Construction Engineering (or equivalent experience).
