As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in the development and care of children, ensuring their safety and well-being while promoting their growth through engaging activities. Duties Provide high-quality care and education for children in the nursery setting. Plan and implement age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build positive relationships. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Maintain a safe, clean, and organised environment that meets health and safety standards. Support children’s social, emotional, and physical needs, encouraging positive behaviour. Work collaboratively with team members to manage daily nursery operations effectively. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational practices. Qualifications Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Leadership abilities to guide and inspire fellow team members. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for childcare and early years education. A proactive approach to problem-solving and adapting to children's needs.
