The Job You’ll Do; • Direct and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the testing area., • Ensure all tests are properly prepared, executed, and concluded in accordance with SOPs, • Analyse and interpret customer technical specifications and requirements., • Plan and schedule both internal and external testing activities, including effective resource allocation., • Own and manage the functional test plan, contributing to the overall project schedule., • Ensure scheduled preventive and planned maintenance activities are completed effectively., • Maintain, track, and update the test request database to ensure accuracy and visibility., • Apply robust testing methodologies and data analysis techniques., • Oversee the collection and management of test data from internal, regional, and third-party sources., • Compile, evaluate, and present comprehensive test reports with clear data-driven insights., • Lead the procurement and/or development of test fixtures and equipment., • Ensure full compliance with Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) policies., • Support team training initiatives and contribute to ongoing technical capability development., • Collaborate closely with Quality Assurance and cross-functional teams, • HND qualified or higher in a relevant engineering discipline (Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical Engineering)., • Extensive experience within a manufacturing or engineering test environment., • In-depth knowledge of HVAC systems and associated components., • Strong technical testing expertise, including software applications, acoustic analysis, thermodynamics, and instrumentation., • Excellent verbal communication and technical presentation abilities., • Skilled in preparing clear, precise, and comprehensive technical reports., • Highly organised, self-driven, and proactive in approach., • Advanced problem-solving skills with solid engineering analysis capability., • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications., • Able to work independently with flexibility and minimal supervision., • Willing and able to travel within the UK and internationally as required., • Effective collaborator with R&D, Development Engineering, and global cross-functional teams.
