Role Overview This pivotal role is responsible for delivering our sales strategy in the UK. Working closely with the Head of Sales, and reporting in to the Head of Network Development, you will define our strategy, determine the objectives that underpin it, the KPIs that measure its success, and be responsible for the communication of the progress, both to our network and internal management. You will also be responsible for the Sales Training function, with three direct reports. This will enable you to close the loop and deliver the training suite that will help us deliver on the strategy. As well as being experienced in delivering programmes and incentives to a franchised dealer network, you will need to possess strong management skills and be an expert in all Microsoft Office packages. This role requires the ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, using initiative and self-motivation to constantly deliver, all while demonstrating the responsibility to identify and take on new projects. Responsibilities: • Be responsible for all retailer performance levers, such as variable margin, retailer scorecard and escalation process, • Define sales strategy and communicate to the retailer network through video, email and live webinars, • Analyse retailer composite reports and business performance tools to identify site-by-site performance gaps, improvement opportunities, and financial upside, translating insight into clear action plans., • Produce regular and ad-hoc performance reporting for senior stakeholders, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across the network., • Create monthly reporting updates on progress of key objectives to the network and Omoda Jaecoo UK Senior Management Team, • Constantly review suitability of KPIs and adjust where necessary, • Be point of contact for all relevant suppliers and manage tender process for contract renewals, • Manage team of three professional sales trainers. Set objectives, conduct reviews, and report to Omoda Jaecoo UK Senior Management Team on team activity and results, • Visit key retailer partners to ensure sales strategy is understood and gain feedback, • Undertake ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Departmental and Omoda Jaecoo UK Senior Management Team Requirements: • Professional experience: more than 5 years of work experience at an automotive OEM, ideally in a network-facing role responsible for performance management on a scale, • Understanding of franchised retailer operations, • Ability to build relationships at every level, both internally and externally, • Experience at managing supplier relationships, • Excellent management skills with ability to demonstrate leading a successful team, • Ability to be nimble and quickly change priorities, • Proven ability to constantly innovate and provide bespoke solutions to problems, • High level of aptitude on Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, • Strong ability to withstand pressure, • Ability to take responsibility and take initiative without being asked to do so, • Language requirement: English as working language., • Flexibility to travel throughout the UK
