Job Summary: We are a brand new Shisha Lounge / Restaurant based in Lower Clapton Road. As a Kitchen Porter, you play a vital role in keeping the kitchen running smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, supporting chefs with basic tasks, and ensuring that all kitchen areas, equipment, and utensils are kept in excellent condition. This is a hands-on role that requires energy, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Key Responsibilities: • Wash and sanitize dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils., • Keep all work surfaces, floors, and equipment clean and hygienic., • Dispose of waste and recycling according to kitchen procedures., • Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks (e.g., peeling, chopping) ifrequired., • Restock clean crockery, cutlery, and cooking equipment., • Ensure cleaning supplies are well stocked and report shortages to management., • Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely., • Follow all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations., • Support the kitchen team during busy periods to maintain smooth operations.
