The R&D team is seeking an experienced and passionate agronomist to help drive the sustainability of the raw ingredients (wheat flour) used in the manufacture of our products. The role will be liaising with external partners to help evaluate and deploy technologies and practices with our supply-chain partners that achieve our 2050 aim of achieving net-zero regenerative farming. Our strategy leverages plant breeding, agronomy and farming technology. How you will contribute: You will: Proactively manage and develop existing multi-partner collaborative projects aimed as improving the sustainability of our wheat flour supply. Review research proposals and technologies of external organizations to determine whether their suitability to meeting. Liaise will internal stakeholders in our biscuit category to ensure our R&D programme within the MEU aligns with their commercial sourcing requirements, quality specifications and environmental footprint requirements.
