Job title: Quantity Surveyor Salary: £60,000 - 70,000 DOE + £4,500, Discretionary Bonus, 5% Pension Contribution Location: Pinner Duration: Permanent O'Neill and Brennan have an excellent opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor with experience of running the commercial aspects of new build housing projects. Our client is a very reputable developer with an excellent pipeline of upcoming schemes. They are looking for a QS who has proven experience of looking after their own projects (or phases if the projects is particularly large) As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the commercial aspects of a project autonomously, this will include estimating costs, material quantities and project timelines. You will be involved in pre-construction and the procurement of subcontractor packages. You will also be required to liaise with a range of other teams working on the project and to ensure everything is on track. Additionally, you will advise clients and contractors on compliance issues and commercial risks associated with their projects and procure the necessary building permits to ensure the construction works comply with building regulations.
