Freelance Tutors - East Midlands Nottingham | Newark | Mansfield | Chesterfield | Derby Health & Social Care | Coding | Cyber | Autism & SEN (Level 3) Are you an experienced Tutor, Trainer, Assessor, or industry professional looking for flexible work that allows you to make a genuine impact on learners' lives? Learning Curve Group is looking to expand its network of Freelance Tutors across the East Midlands to support the delivery of adult learning and employability programmes. The opportunities within the East Midlands are all hybrid positions that involve delivering high-quality, engaging training that supports learners in achieving their qualification and advancing their professional practice. The role follows a 25% face-to-face and 75% online delivery model, with tutors typically delivering one day in person each week and the remainder online. Opportunity to also assess, mark and provide developmental feedback on learner work via remote learning and our E-assessor platform. What is a Freelance Tutor at LCG? A Freelance Tutor is a self-employed professional who delivers training on an ad-hoc basis. You will work on behalf of Learning Curve Group, delivering engaging short courses and vocational qualifications to adult learners aged 19+ within your area of occupational expertise. You will play an important role in helping learners develop the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to achieve their goals and progress into employment or further learning. Hourly rates vary depending on the subject area, programme requirements, and level of delivery. Full details will be discussed during the recruitment process. For example: ·Level 2 Health and Social Care = £18 per hour ·Level 3 Coding = £30 per hour What will you do? You will: • Deliver engaging classroom-based training, • Facilitate learner progress and achievement, • Complete learner reviews and assessments, • Monitor attendance and engagement, • Support learners with employability skills, • Maintain required documentation and records How does the role operate? • Self-employed/freelance basis, • Work offered according to learner recruitment and programme demand, • Flexible delivery schedules (usually scheduled 3 months in advance), • Opportunity to work across multiple locations, • Freedom to combine with other freelance or employed work, • Competitive hourly rates We'd Love to Hear From You If You Have Experience In: • Health & Social Care, • Cyber Security, • Coding, • Autism & SEN Essential Requirements • 3+ Years of Occupational competence within your subject area, • Teaching qualification (AET/PTLLS/CAVA/TAQA etc), • Comfortable with travel to agreed locations, • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one), • Right to work in the UK Apply for this opportunity Join us in transforming lives through learning across the East Midlands.
