Design Manager – Facades Location: Leicester I am currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist façade and cladding contractor delivering complex remediation schemes across the UK. They are seeking a Design Manager to lead drawing production and coordinate façade design delivery across multiple projects. The Role This is a hands-on design management position focused on coordination, dimensional accuracy and buildability. You will: • Manage an in-house team of designers, • Coordinate specialist façade subcontract designers, • Oversee production of technical and construction drawings, • Conduct site visits where as-built drawings are unavailable, • Ensure dimensional accuracy prior to fabrication and order placement, • Liaise with Building Control and BSR where required, • Support remediation proposals and technical solutions This role requires a balance of office-based design management and practical site interface.
