Electrical Installation Assessor / TutorLocation: East Midlands (Leicester / Birmingham / Milton Keynes)Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 DOE + £4,500 Car AllowanceFull Time | Permanent About the Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Assessor / Tutor to support the delivery of Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprenticeships across the East Midlands region. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified electrical educator to join a growing training team, supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey and helping develop the next generation of skilled electricians.The role will involve a blend of workplace assessment, learner support, progress reviews, and technical tutoring, working closely with employers and apprentices to ensure successful completion of their apprenticeship programme.What You’ll Be Doing\n\n • Assessing and supporting learners undertaking the Level 3 Electrical Installation Apprenticeship Standard.\n, • Delivering technical teaching and coaching sessions to support apprentice development.\n, • Conducting workplace assessments and reviewing learner progress against required standards.\n, • Supporting apprentices to develop the practical skills, knowledge, and behaviours required within the electrical industry.\n, • Working closely with employers, learners, and internal teams to monitor progress and achievement.\n, • Maintaining accurate learner records, assessment documentation, and e-portfolio systems.\n, • Ensuring delivery meets awarding organisation, funding, and quality requirements.\n, • Providing guidance, feedback, and support to learners throughout their apprenticeship journey.\nWhat We’re Looking ForEssential:\n\n, • Recognised electrical qualification (Level 3 or equivalent).\n, • Occupational competence within the electrical installation industry.\n, • Qualified Assessor award (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33 or equivalent).\n, • Experience assessing and/or delivering Level 3 Electrical Installation apprenticeships.\n, • Strong knowledge of current electrical standards and industry practices.\n, • Excellent communication, organisation, and learner support skills.\n, • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the East Midlands region.\nDesirable:\n\n, • Teaching qualification (AET, PTLLS, Cert Ed or equivalent).\n, • IQA qualification.\n, • Experience delivering technical training within an apprenticeship environment.\nWhy Join Us?\n\n, • Competitive salary of £45,000 – £50,000 DOE.\n, • £4,500 car allowance.\n, • Home-based flexibility with travel across Leicester, Birmingham, Milton Keynes, and surrounding areas.\n, • Opportunity to make a real impact supporting the next generation of electricians.\n, • Join an established and supportive training team.\n, • Monday–Friday working pattern.\n This Could Suit You If You’re Currently Working As: \n\n, • Electrical Installation Assessor\n, • Electrical Tutor\n, • Electrical Trainer\n, • Apprenticeship Skills Coach\n, • Electrical Lecturer\n, • Electrical Training Officer\n, • Electrical Supervisor with assessing experience\n
