Broking Team Leader – Schemes 📍 Leicester / Northampton | Hybrid | Permanent – Full-Time We’re looking for a dynamic and hands-on Broking Team Leader to join the high-performing Schemes Team of a leading UK broker. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a talented team, drive operational excellence, and deliver outstanding client service across a diverse portfolio of scheme-based insurance solutions. The Schemes Team is known for its energy, collaboration, and advice-led approach. They work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment — serving clients from sole traders to multi-site operations — and pride themselves on exceptional service, delivered entirely through remote communication. The Role As Broking Team Leader, you’ll: • Lead, coach, and develop brokers in both the SME and Affinities teams, • Oversee daily operations, ensuring service levels, compliance, and workflows are on track, • Act as a key escalation point for complex queries and decision-making, • Support all aspects of broking activity — renewals, MTAs, new business, and client servicing, • Work closely with underwriting, compliance, claims, and finance to deliver seamless client outcomes, • Monitor performance, identify improvement opportunities, and implement positive change, • Cover two sites across Leicester and Northampton, which will require fairly regular travel About You We’d love to hear from you if you have: • Experience in a broking or insurance environment, • Previous supervisory or leadership experience, • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills, • Solid understanding of FCA regulations and insurance principles Why Join?
