We’re Hiring | Territory Account Manager Head Office Location: Merton Business Park, Leicester, LE3 1TH Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (dependant on experience) + Car Allowance + Benefits Workplace Type: Hybrid/Territory Travel. One day a week at Leicester head office. Hours: 35 hours per week - Monday to Friday Some people love spreadsheets. Some people love meetings about meetings. This role is about building relationships, winning business, growing accounts and being out in the market making things happen. Merton Group UK Ltd (MGUK) is growing, and we’re looking for a commercially driven Territory Account Manager to join our team. This role is split: 50% Account Management 50% New Business Development One day you could be developing a long-standing customer relationship, and the next you could be opening a brand new account that becomes a major customer. No two days are the same, which is exactly how good salespeople like it. You’ll be joining a business with: • Strong existing customer base, • Genuine growth ambitions, • Excellent earning and career growth potential, • Opportunity to earn substantial bonuses through territory growth, • Supportive team environment, • Real autonomy in your territory, • No unnecessary corporate nonsense, • No micromanagement, • And thankfully, very few pointless meetings SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Achieve Territory Sales & Profit targets., • Responsible for the maintenance of prospect and customer data via our ERP/CRM system in line with the Company’s Sales and Marketing Departments., • Work closely with the Group Sales Manager to ensure effective sales strategies are developed and implemented to deliver the required sales growth and customer satisfaction levels., • Maintain an effective regional call cycle and call frequency plan for all designated customer accounts and prospects., • Develop and grow existing customer accounts within the assigned territory., • Generate and win new regional business opportunities to increase market share and territory growth., • Implement effective account development plans for customers within the assigned portfolio., • Be flexible to support and assist the Customer Support Unit where required., • Maximise the generation of profitable sales and achieve required sales and profit targets., • Liaise with operational colleagues to ensure that account execution is in line with Company policy and customer expectations., • Manage customer relationships and expectations, building rapport at all possible levels., • Ensure all negotiated pricing structures are in line with MGUK Company Pricing policy., • Maintain all literature, visual aids and samples ensuring they are current, consistent, of the highest quality available and replaced when necessary., • Have full commercial knowledge of the Company’s products, practices and objectives., • Generate prospects in line with defined targets to create new business opportunities within the assigned territory., • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline activity and territory reporting., • Strive to exceed all targets including customer satisfaction levels.
