For example, control and direction of traffic at crossings areas, operation of hazard warning signs and identification of any roadside hazards. The control of the behaviour of children at crossing areas is a major requirement of the job. The post will involve working in all weather conditions. The post is considered as Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
