    We are looking for an experienced and confident Floor Waiter Supervisor to join our busy pizzeria in Sidcup, Kent. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the front-of-house team, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining smooth floor operations, and supporting the management team during busy service periods. Key Responsibilities ● Supervise and coordinate the front-of-house/waiting team during service. ● Ensure customers receive friendly, professional and efficient service. ● Allocate tables and manage the flow of service. ● Support and guide waiting staff throughout each shift. ● Handle customer queries and resolve service issues professionally. ● Ensure tables, dining areas and front-of-house areas are kept clean and presentable. ● Assist with opening and closing procedures. ● Monitor staff performance and maintain high standards of service. ● Communicate effectively with the kitchen and management team. ● Help train and support new members of staff. ● Lead by example during busy and high-pressure services. Requirements ● Previous experience in a similar supervisory role is essential. ● Previous experience working in a restaurant, pizzeria or busy hospitality environment. ● Fluent spoken English is essential. ● Strong communication and customer service skills. ● Confident supervising and motivating a team. ● Reliable, organised and punctual. ● Able to remain calm and professional during busy services. ● Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and holidays. ● A positive attitude and professional appearance. This is your chance to join a team that’s building something special and help shape how our kitchens run. The RoleWe’re looking for a Kitchen Crew Lead — someone who’s worked in a busy kitchen and knows how to run a smooth shift. If you’ve led or trained others in places like Nando’s, Wingstop, Five Guys, or McDonald’s, this will feel familiar. You’ll be the one keeping the kitchen organised, supporting your crew, and making sure every meal hits Sweet Jerk standards. You’ll also help new starters learn the ropes, keep on top of prep, and make sure the kitchen always runs clean, safe, and smooth. Key Responsibilities • Lead and motivate the back-of-house team to deliver high-quality, consistent food at speed., • Manage prep levels, ticket times, and service flow for smooth, efficient operation., • Train and develop team members to follow Sweet Jerk standards in quality, safety, and presentation., • Oversee daily stock checks, par levels, and deliveries, keeping waste low and efficiency high., • Ensure food-safety, SFBB logs, and hygiene standards are met at all times., • Support rota planning, shift cover, and clear communication with the front-of-house team., • Jump on the line when needed — lead by example and bring positive energy to every shift. What We’re Looking For✅ 2 + years’ experience in a fast-paced kitchen.✅ 1 + year in a supervisory or management role (e.g. Kitchen Crew Lead, BOH Supervisor, Shift Leader, Assistant Manager).✅ Strong organisational skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.✅ A natural motivator who builds positive team culture.✅ Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.✅ A passion for Caribbean food, culture, and customer experience.
