Baltic Recruitment are delighted to be working in partnership with an established manufacturing business specialising in the design and production of food-grade packaging, to recruit an experienced Packaging Designer. Key Duties: Produce designs, drawings, samples, and pallet layouts in compliance with customer and plant specifications. Collaborate with production to ensure designs align with machine suitability and feasibility. Create drawings for costing based on customer information and innovative product ideas. Support Customer Services and External Sales teams, as well as customers, with design-related matters. Manage sample board requirements and stocking. Maintain accurate records in KIWI (Knowledge Integrated Workflow Interface) for drawings and specifications. Contribute to the improvement of systems and procedures within the design department. Provide proactive assistance to the external sales team in achieving account plan objectives and customer action plans. Respond promptly to daily client requests, delivering concise and accurate status updates. Coordinate the introduction of new products, from artwork/specification stages to delivery, in collaboration with internal departments. Collaborate with External Sales team for efficient account management, including customer meetings and reviews. Provide data analysis and reports to customers, External Sales teams, and management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Maintain compliance with Company's Health & Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental standards and procedures. Key Requirements: Interest in packaging and design, with a strong attention to detail. Effective communication skills for presenting arguments and achieving optimal outcomes. Proficiency in ArtiosCAD, Cape Pack, and the full Adobe Suite. Computer literacy. The Package: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum depending on experience. (Open to a junior/graduate level too) Day shift, office hours based position Monday-Friday. This role will be within our Metering team , youll join the leading provider of metering services in the UK energy retail sector, we provide efficient and flexible services for gas, electricity and water meters. Our meter readers install, maintain and manage meters to make sure customers are billed correctly and energy usage patterns are monitored. Want to come and be a part of it? What will you be doing? Youll investigate, detect, and prevent gas and electricity theft in residential and commercial properties. Youll be responsible for making sure installations are made safe and will work with the supplier to agree what further action is to be taken. You'll collect evidence and provide information to the client to decide next steps. Youll be involved in debt recovery work; this may include carrying out metering tasks such as installing a SMART meter or de-energising/disconnecting the supply. Youll also have the ability to remain calm and professional and confronting situations. Do you want career progression? Previous experience as a Revenue Protection Officer or in conflict management would be useful but not essential in this role; all youll need is a positive, proactive, and solution-oriented mindset. Youll get full training on revenue protection and conflict management. What youll bring Valid UK driving licence - You must have a full UK licence and have less than 6 points. For Dual Fuel applicants: CCN1 / CMA1 / CMA3 with MET1 and MOCOPA For Electric-only applicants: MOCOPA (Single-Phase or Three-Phase) / NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation / City & Guilds 2365/2330/2357 / or Smart Metering (Electricity) Level 2 Strong customer service background with the ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations Nice to have (but not essential): 3-phase qualification / CT / Medium Pressure Whats in it for you? Salary: Single fuel - £36,431 per annum Single fuel (3 phase/CT) £37,515 per annum Candidates joining on a single fuel basis will be required to upskill to dual fuel, upskill training will be provided by the company.
