Pulse are recruiting an HCPC registered Psychologist to join a specialist residential service supporting children and young people with complex trauma autism and learning disabilities. This is a full-time on-site role working across several sites in the greater Manchester region. Sponsorship is available for eligible applicants (must be HCPC registered) and the role offers a unique opportunity to lead psychological therapies within a trauma-informed framework. As a Psychologist you will: • Deliver specialist psychological assessments and therapy to children and young people with severe and enduring mental health needs., • Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to individual needs., • Lead psychological input across services embedding trauma-informed care principles., • Provide consultation guidance and supervision to non-psychologist colleagues trainees and assistants., • Contribute to service development through research audit and teaching., • Work closely within a multi-disciplinary team maintaining autonomy within professional guidelines., • Sponsorship available for eligible candidates, • Mileage paid at 0.45 per mile (after first 20 miles from home), • Private medical insurance post-probation, • Confidential Employee Assistance Programme, • Are HCPC-registered Psychologists, • Have experience working with children and young people ideally in residential or trauma-informed settings, • Are confident in psychological formulation and therapeutic delivery across a range of models Apply directly through thePulse website.
