With lots of new business coming in they are looking for a CAD Technician to expand their tight-knit design team working on Highway and Drainage systems for residential developments.This business prides itself on providing high quality service to their clients with a highly flexible approach with great attention to detail which has allowed them to have a fantastic reputation.In this role you will be using AutoCAD as well as Causeway packages for the highway designs of residential developments, this will consist of preparing and managing Section 38 and Section 104 submissions and liaise with the relevant authorities. This role is intended for candidates who live within commuting distance of Warrington. Occasional on-site presence is required. • £40,000–£41,000 per year (including all expenses and allowances), • Monthly PAYE pay, • Modern fleet (Mercedes or MAN trucks), • Pension scheme (auto-enrolment), • Ongoing training and development, • Free uniform and PPE where applicable, • Secure on-site parking for personal vehicles, • Carry out long-haul driving across the UK, including overnight tramping, • Complete bay-to-bay deliveries only, with no manual handling (drop-and-go), • Operate modern, well-maintained vehicles with confidence in navigation and journey planning, • Comply with all road safety rules, driving hours regulations, and company policies, • Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects or issues, • Use SNAP accounts and fuel cards to support efficient journeys, • Work consistent tramping schedules with five consecutive shifts (Sunday–Friday), • Valid UK C+E (Class 1) driving licence, • Minimum of 2 years’ HGV driving experience, • Clean licence preferred (up to 6 points accepted; no TT, DR or IN endorsements), • Fluency in English preferred, • Good knowledge of UK road laws, including the Highway Code and drivers’ hours regulations, • Right to work in the UK with valid supporting documentation, • Successful completion of pre-employment checks, including drug and alcohol testing, • Day and night shifts, • Five days per week, including some weekends Synergyx Freight is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate based on race, national origin, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, protected veteran status, disability, age, or any other legally protected status.
