National Account Manager - Scale Up Pet Food London Area, United Kingdom (On-site) Apply 🚨 We’re hiring: National Account Manager – Discounters | Pet Food | High-Growth Brand 📍 Central London, (Hybrid working, flexible location) 💰 £50k base + bonus + £5k car allowance Our client is a fast-growing, purpose-driven pet care business with a portfolio of trusted brands loved by pet owners across Europe. "We’re on a mission to lead the category through innovation, strategic acquisitions, and brand-led growth." This role is central to unlocking that growth — taking full ownership of some of the UK’s most commercially strategic discount retail accounts, shaping trading terms, promotional strategies, and innovation launches in a dynamic, high-growth category. 🧠 What you’ll be doing: ✅ Lead and manage key national discount retail accounts including Home Bargains, Heron, Savers, B&M, and One Beyond ✅ Take full P&L responsibility, driving profitable sales growth and market share ✅ Negotiate trading terms, promotional plans, and joint business plans with buyers ✅ Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver impactful NPD and range extensions ✅ Use category insights to influence retailer strategies and in-store execution ✅ Monitor sales performance, identifying opportunities and risks to optimise results ✅ Be the voice of the discounter channel within the wider commercial team 🌟 What we’re looking for: ✔️ Proven National Account Management experience, ideally in FMCG — Food & Drink or Pet Care preferred ✔️ Strong negotiation and commercial skills with a track record of delivering growth ✔️ Experience managing P&L and creating joint business plans ✔️ Ability to turn insight into action, driving category-led growth in retail ✔️ Collaborative, energetic, and confident in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture ✔️ Passion for building brands and winning in a competitive retail landscape
