As a Relief Extra Care Support Worker, your role will include providing respectful personal care and administering medication. You will encourage residents to engage in various exciting social activities both within and outside the home. Developing warm and trusting relationships with service users, enabling them to fully enjoy their time at the service, is key. You will engage positively with service users and their families to build trusting relationships and work flexibly according to the needs of the service. You have the option to choose between weekly or monthly payments. Requirements for this role include a minimum of twelve months’ experience working with older individuals. While a relevant professional qualification is desirable, it is not essential. What is crucial is a warm and person-centred approach.
