You will play a key role in overseeing tax compliance work, ensuring all requirements are met accurately and efficiently. This permanent role offers a chance to manage tax processes and contribute to ad hoc Tax projects outside of the compliance aspect. \n Client Details \n A large multinational organisation that partners with a diverse range of public and private sector clients to deliver operational services \n Description Direct Tax & Reporting\n\n • Manage the delivery of UK direct tax obligations, including the preparation, review and submission of corporate tax returns and supporting calculations.\n, • Produce tax provisions and disclosures for both group reporting and statutory financial statements.\n, • Support forecasting activities, including cash tax projections and quarterly tax payment assessments.\n, • Contribute to periodic tax reporting requirements in line with group accounting standards.\nInternational Tax Coordination\n\n, • Oversee overseas tax compliance processes, working closely with external advisers to ensure obligations are met.\n, • Maintain strong relationships with advisors and monitor key filing and reporting deadlines across jurisdictions.\nGovernance & Risk Management\n\n, • Assist in the ongoing development and effectiveness of the organisation's tax governance framework.\n, • Coordinate compliance activities relating to Senior Accounting Officer (SAO) requirements and Corporate Criminal Offence (CCO) legislation.\n, • Promote robust controls and best practice across all areas of tax compliance.\nAd hoc Advisory & Project Work\n\n, • Provide tax support on strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, restructures and broader business projects.\n, • Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory developments, assessing implications and communicating key changes to stakeholders.\n, • Review and oversee other tax-related obligations, including Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and PAYE Settlement Agreement (PSA) requirements.\n, • Contribute to indirect tax initiatives and compliance activities as needed.\nTeam Development\n\n, • Mentor and support junior members of the tax team, providing guidance, coaching and development opportunities to enhance capability and performance.\n\n Profile \n A successful Tax Manager should have: \n\n • Strong knowledge of tax compliance and advisory practices in the business services sector.\n, • Professional qualifications in tax or accounting, such as CTA, ACA, or ACCA.\n, • Proven expertise in handling tax compliance processes and financial reporting.\n, • Experience in advising on complex tax matters and implementing tax planning strategies.\n, • Experience of working with Large UK Groups, International exposure a benefit but not essential\n, • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.\n, • Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.\n\n Job Offer \n\n • Salary ranging from £55,000 to £65,000, dependent on the level of experience.\n, • 10% performance-based bonus.\n, • Hybrid working arrangements for better work-life balance.\n\n \n Apply below or reach out for a confidential chat.
