The Role We’re looking for a Front of House Manager — someone who can own the floor, lead a team, and make sure every guest gets the Sweet Jerk experience from the moment they walk through the door. If you’ve managed in fast-paced brands like Nando’s, Wagamama, PizzaExpress, Five Guys, Wingstop or similar, this will feel familiar. This is not a Supervisor or Senior Waiter/Waitress role. We’re looking for someone who has already managed a restaurant Front of House operation and knows what it takes to run a busy service, lead a team, hold standards, cash up, handle customers, and keep everything moving when the pressure is on. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Kitchen Manager to make sure FOH is sharp, organised and bringing the energy every service. Key Responsibilities Lead the Front of House team during service, keeping the floor organised, efficient, and guest-focused. Manage service flow across seating, ordering, food running, drinks, clearing, and customer experience. Lead and motivate the FOH team, setting the standard through your own energy and performance. Handle customer concerns and service recovery confidently and professionally. Carry out opening and closing procedures, including cashing up and end-of-day till reconciliation. Train, onboard, and develop new FOH team members. Support rota planning, shift allocation, and appropriate staffing levels. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and restaurant readiness. Ensure company procedures, health and safety requirements, and operational checks are followed. Monitor team performance and address issues quickly when standards slip. Work closely with the kitchen team to keep communication tight and service flowing. Step in wherever needed during busy periods — at Sweet Jerk, our managers lead from the floor. What We’re Looking For ✅ At least 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or Front of House Manager. ✅ Proven experience directly managing a FOH team of 5+ people. ✅ Experience running busy restaurant services as the manager responsible for the floor. ✅ Confident with cashing up, till reconciliation, opening and closing procedures. ✅ Experience managing rotas, staffing, training, and team performance. ✅ Strong customer service skills and confidence handling complaints and service recovery. ✅ Experience within a recognised restaurant group, hospitality brand, or busy standards-led restaurant environment is highly desirable. ✅ Calm, organised, and decisive when service gets busy. ✅ Someone who leads by example — on the floor, not from the sidelines. ✅ High standards, great energy, and a genuinely warm approach to hospitality. ✅ Flexible availability including evenings and weekends. Please note: This is a management position. Supervisor, Shift Leader, Team Leader, Senior Server or Senior Waiter/Waitress experience alone will not meet the experience requirement unless you have also held overall Front of House or Restaurant Manager responsibility. How to Apply If you know how to run a restaurant floor, lead people, and create the kind of hospitality that keeps guests coming back, we’d love to hear from you. Balham, Wandsworth

Venue Manager – Pinky Burger Foundry Hospitality Group is looking for a friendly, energetic and highly organised Venue Manager to take care of the day-to-day running of Pinky Burger, our new burger, cocktail and karaoke concept in Balham. This isn’t a traditional restaurant management role. Pinky has a deliberately simple food operation, QR-code ordering, a dedicated bar person and support from our Operations Manager. What we need is someone who can take ownership of the venue and make sure every shift runs brilliantly. You’ll be responsible for opening and setting up the venue, keeping it clean, organised and looking great, welcoming guests, overseeing the floor and QR ordering system, coordinating with the kitchen and bar, managing the private karaoke room and making sure the atmosphere stays fun, friendly and well controlled. Most importantly, we’re looking for personality. You should genuinely enjoy meeting people, be confident talking to guests and have the sort of presence that makes people feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. You don’t need years of restaurant management experience. You might currently be a supervisor, duty manager, assistant manager or an experienced front-of-house person ready to take the next step. Hospitality experience is important, but attitude, reliability, organisation and personality matter just as much. You’ll have the support of Foundry Hospitality’s Operations Manager, while having plenty of autonomy to make Pinky a great neighbourhood venue. The right person will be: • Warm, outgoing and naturally welcoming, • Reliable and highly organised, • Comfortable taking responsibility for a venue, • Experienced in hospitality, bars, restaurants or similar, • Happy working in a lively, informal environment, • Hands-on — willing to jump in wherever needed, • Confident managing busy evenings and late-night trade, • Someone who takes pride in keeping a venue spotless, organised and ready for service This is a great opportunity for someone looking for their first venue management position without stepping into the complexity of running a large traditional restaurant.

    London

Construction Project Manager – Domestic Building Projects £40,000–£130,000 depending on experience and performance + uncapped project commission We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to take ownership of domestic building projects from initial site visit through to successful completion. Our projects include: • Home extensions, • Loft conversions, • Full and partial property renovations, • Internal remodelling and refurbishment Typical contract values range from £40,000 to £250,000, with an average project value of approximately £70,000. This role is designed for someone who wants the independence and earning potential of running projects without having to worry about finding customers, generating leads, running sales calls, issuing contracts, chasing invoices or managing back-office administration. We find the work and run the back office. You deliver the projects. How the role works The company generates enquiries and works with homeowners to understand their plans, budget and project requirements. Once we identify a promising opportunity, you will: 1. Visit the property and meet the client in person., 2. Discuss the proposed work in detail., 3. Assess the site and identify potential risks or challenges., 4. Scope the work and prepare an accurate, commercially viable quotation., 5. Support our internal team with any technical questions required to close the project. Our internal team then takes over the sales process, follows up with the customer, issues contracts and closes the project. Once the project is secured, you take responsibility for delivering it from start to finish. Focus on delivery, not administration We take care of the back office, including: • Lead generation, • Initial customer qualification, • Sales calls and follow-up, • Customer contracts, • Billing, • Invoicing, • Payment collection, • General administration You are not expected to spend your time finding work, chasing paperwork, issuing contracts or collecting money. Your focus is on: • Meeting clients, • Understanding and pricing projects, • Planning the work, • Organising contractors and trades, • Managing day-to-day project delivery, • Controlling costs and programme, • Maintaining a strong relationship with the client, • Ensuring work is delivered to a high standard You look after the contractors, the client and the project. We look after everything around it. Your responsibilities You will be responsible for the successful delivery of your projects, including: • Visiting prospective projects and meeting homeowners, • Understanding the client's requirements, • Accurately scoping and pricing work, • Preparing project budgets and quotations, • Planning the works and creating realistic programmes, • Organising labour, subcontractors, trades and materials, • Ensuring the right contractors are on site at the right time, • Managing and supervising contractors, • Monitoring the quality of work, • Managing project costs, budgets and margins, • Monitoring progress against programme, • Identifying and resolving issues quickly, • Managing variations and changes to scope, • Keeping clients informed throughout the project, • Maintaining a positive client relationship, • Ensuring sites are organised, safe and professionally managed, • Managing snagging and project completion, • Delivering an outcome the client is genuinely happy with You will have considerable freedom over how you organise and deliver your projects. You will not be micromanaged. We care about the outcome: quality, happy clients, projects delivered efficiently and strong commercial performance. What is in it for you? £40,000–£130,000 + uncapped commission Salary will range from £40,000 to £130,000, depending on experience, capability and performance. On top of this, you will receive uncapped commission linked directly to the profit generated by the projects you manage. There is no ceiling on commission. The more work you successfully manage, and the more efficiently and profitably you deliver it, the more you can earn. No need to find your own work One of the biggest challenges of running a construction business is keeping the pipeline full. We take that problem away. Our team generates the enquiries, qualifies customers and runs the sales process. We can generate as much work as you are capable of successfully delivering. Whether you want to manage £60,000 or £6 million of construction work, we want the limiting factor to be your ability to deliver rather than our ability to find projects. No back-office burden Contracts, billing, invoicing, payment collection, sales and administration are handled internally. That allows you to spend your time where you add the most value: on site, with contractors and with clients. Be your own boss The role is largely self-directed. You will have significant freedom over how you organise your time, manage your contractors and deliver your projects. We are looking for someone who wants responsibility rather than someone who needs constant supervision. How the numbers work Our average project is approximately £70,000. A well-run project should achieve at least a 20% profit margin, with 30% or more achievable on strong projects. That means a £70,000 project could generate: 20% Margin30% Margin Contract value £70,000 £70,000 Project profit £14,000 £21,000 Your commission is linked to the profit generated by the projects you manage. A project of this size should take no more than six weeks when properly planned, resourced and managed. There is also no reason an experienced and organised Project Manager cannot oversee multiple projects at the same time. That is where the earning potential becomes significant. Run more projects. Maintain strong margins. Deliver excellent work. Earn more commission. There is no commission cap. By the numbers • Project values: £40,000–£250,000, • Average project: approximately £70,000, • Target minimum project margin: 20%, • Strong projects can achieve approximately 30%+, • Typical £70k project duration: no more than six weeks, • Average conversion following a qualified site visit: approximately 20%, • Approximately five suitable site visits generate one secured project, • Salary: £40,000–£130,000, • Uncapped project commission, • Commission directly linked to project profitability, • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, • As much work available as you are capable of successfully delivering Who we are looking for This role would suit an experienced: • Construction Project Manager, • Contracts Manager, • Construction Manager, • Site Manager, • Residential Project Manager, • General Builder looking to move into project management You should understand both the practical and commercial sides of domestic construction. Problems happen in construction. We are looking for someone who identifies them quickly, communicates clearly and gets them solved. This role will not suit you if This probably isn't the right opportunity if: • You need to be closely managed, • You regularly allow projects to drift over budget, • You struggle to maintain programme, • You avoid difficult conversations with clients or subcontractors, • You produce vague or inaccurate quotations, • You don't understand project profitability, • You compromise on quality to make a job easier, • You wait for somebody else to solve problems We want someone commercially minded who takes pride in delivering great work.
