This is a hands-on role for someone with strong experience cooking burgers in both restaurant and high-volume takeaway environments. You’ll be expected to follow recipes, cooking methods, portioning and service protocols precisely, while keeping your section exceptionally clean, organised and ready for a busy service. What we’re looking for • Extensive burger/grill experience, • Experience in both restaurant and takeaway/delivery environments, • Excellent attention to detail and consistency, • Ability to follow exact recipes, specifications and service protocols, • Fast, clean and highly organised during busy services, • Strong understanding of food safety and kitchen standards, • A genuine team player with a positive attitude, • Confident and comfortable working in front of guests, • Good conversational and communication skills, • Someone who naturally enjoys hospitality and making people feel welcome We’re building Pinky around great burgers, great drinks, music and personality. We want chefs who understand that even in a fast, casual environment, the details matter and hospitality should never feel transactional. If you’re proud of what you cook, enjoy a fast-paced service and like being part of the atmosphere rather than hidden away from it, we’d like to hear from you.

    Part-time
    Bromley

The Role We’re looking for a Front of House Manager — someone who can own the floor, lead a team, and make sure every guest gets the Sweet Jerk experience from the moment they walk through the door. If you’ve managed in fast-paced brands like Nando’s, Wagamama, PizzaExpress, Five Guys, Wingstop or similar, this will feel familiar. This is not a Supervisor or Senior Waiter/Waitress role. We’re looking for someone who has already managed a restaurant Front of House operation and knows what it takes to run a busy service, lead a team, hold standards, cash up, handle customers, and keep everything moving when the pressure is on. You’ll work closely with the Restaurant Manager and Kitchen Manager to make sure FOH is sharp, organised and bringing the energy every service. Key Responsibilities Lead the Front of House team during service, keeping the floor organised, efficient, and guest-focused. Manage service flow across seating, ordering, food running, drinks, clearing, and customer experience. Lead and motivate the FOH team, setting the standard through your own energy and performance. Handle customer concerns and service recovery confidently and professionally. Carry out opening and closing procedures, including cashing up and end-of-day till reconciliation. Train, onboard, and develop new FOH team members. Support rota planning, shift allocation, and appropriate staffing levels. Maintain high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and restaurant readiness. Ensure company procedures, health and safety requirements, and operational checks are followed. Monitor team performance and address issues quickly when standards slip. Work closely with the kitchen team to keep communication tight and service flowing. Step in wherever needed during busy periods — at Sweet Jerk, our managers lead from the floor. What We’re Looking For ✅ At least 2 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or Front of House Manager. ✅ Proven experience directly managing a FOH team of 5+ people. ✅ Experience running busy restaurant services as the manager responsible for the floor. ✅ Confident with cashing up, till reconciliation, opening and closing procedures. ✅ Experience managing rotas, staffing, training, and team performance. ✅ Strong customer service skills and confidence handling complaints and service recovery. ✅ Experience within a recognised restaurant group, hospitality brand, or busy standards-led restaurant environment is highly desirable. ✅ Calm, organised, and decisive when service gets busy. ✅ Someone who leads by example — on the floor, not from the sidelines. ✅ High standards, great energy, and a genuinely warm approach to hospitality. ✅ Flexible availability including evenings and weekends. Please note: This is a management position. Supervisor, Shift Leader, Team Leader, Senior Server or Senior Waiter/Waitress experience alone will not meet the experience requirement unless you have also held overall Front of House or Restaurant Manager responsibility. How to Apply If you know how to run a restaurant floor, lead people, and create the kind of hospitality that keeps guests coming back, we’d love to hear from you.
