About you As a Campaign Manager, you will take responsibility with the creation, planning and delivery of outbound digital marketing campaigns across several brands, using marketing automation tools to optimise engagement and conversion with would-be visitors, delegates and exhibitors. This role supports specific partnership objectives and run-in collaboration with overarching goals of the individual events. You’ll ensure we work towards a growth mindset, continuously testing and learning how best to engage with our customers. You should have a natural curiosity and desire to learn and continuously improve. Working with your colleagues across the events teams, you should identify opportunities to work more efficiently. Key Responsibilities Team Management: • Develop and own the marketing automation campaign strategy for the shows you work on, ensuring alignment with business objectives and using best practice from across the NNG division., • Lead the design and execution of integrated, multi-channel campaigns that drive engagement and conversions., • Oversee segmentation, targeting, and personalization strategies to maximize campaign performance., • Manage and mentor the campaign executives, fostering growth and skill development., • Assign projects, set priorities, and ensure the timely delivery of campaigns and initiatives., • Collaborate with content, design, and sales teams to create a cohesive campaign strategy., • Support on complex automation programmes.Coach and develop Campaign Executive(s) Performance Monitoring & Reporting: • Establish KPIs and benchmarks for campaigns, regularly reviewing performance and making data-driven improvements., • Create detailed reports and dashboards for senior leadership, showcasing campaign ROI and insights., • Oversee A/B testing strategies to optimize messaging, workflows, and conversions for your shows as part of the wider framework set by the Head of Campaigns., • Optimise and recommend AI tools to improve performance and effectiveness of customer campaigns. Compliance & Best Practices: • Ensure campaigns comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other relevant regulations., • Define and enforce best practices for data management, email marketing, and automation workflows. Cross-Functional Collaboration: • Work closely with sales teams to optimize lead scoring, routing, and follow-up processes., • Partner with data teams to refine audience segmentation and enhance reporting capabilities. Skills & Qualifications Essential: • 5+ years of experience in marketing automation, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role., • Expert-level knowledge of marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)., • Proven ability to develop and execute complex, data-driven campaign strategies., • Strong leadership and team management skills with experience mentoring and developing junior staff., • Advanced analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategies., • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders., • In-depth knowledge of email marketing best practices, deliverability, and compliance regulations and use of AI tools for enhancing campaign performance. Desirable: • Experience in B2B marketing, events, or SaaS industries., • Certification in marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot Marketing Software, Marketo Certified Expert)., • Familiarity with SQL, HTML/CSS, or other technical skills to customize campaigns., • Knowledge of AI and machine learning tools to enhance campaign automation.
