Multi Skilled Joiner Location: Liverpool & Surrounding Areas Job Type: Temporary to Permanent Pay Rate: £20.00 per hour (CIS) Hours: 40 hours per week Benefits: Company Van & Fuel Card Provided About the Role We are looking to recruit an experienced Multi Skilled Joiner to join our team delivering responsive repairs and void property works across Liverpool and the surrounding areas within the Social Housing sector. This position is ideal for a skilled operative with strong joinery experience and the ability to carry out a range of additional maintenance and repair tasks. You will be working across both occupied and vacant properties, ensuring repairs and refurbishment works are completed to a high standard. The successful candidate will be customer-focused, reliable, and capable of managing their own workload while maintaining excellent standards of workmanship and health & safety compliance. Key Responsibilities • Carrying out all aspects of joinery repairs and maintenance, • Completing responsive repairs within tenanted social housing properties, • Undertaking void property refurbishment and repair works, • Carrying out minor multi-trade works including basic plastering, tiling, painting, and patch repairs, • Replacing doors, frames, locks, skirting boards, kitchens, and other joinery components, • Diagnosing faults and completing repairs efficiently, • Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety and compliance regulations, • Providing a professional and respectful service while working in residents' homes, • Accurately recording completed works and reporting any additional repair requirements Requirements To be considered for this role, candidates should have: • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Joinery (or equivalent), • Proven experience as a Multi Skilled Joiner or similar role, • Experience carrying out responsive repairs and void property works, • Strong skills across multiple trades, with joinery as a core trade, • Experience working within the Social Housing sector, • Full UK Driving Licence, • Asbestos Awareness Certificate, • Manual Handling Certificate, • Working at Heights Certificate, • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, • Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively, • Excellent customer service and communication skills To Apply Please call Lucy from Building Careers on 01695 556800 or 07897 069193.
