Joiner / Fitter Salary: £40,000 basic, rising to £45,000 after probation Hours: 40 hours per week Contract: Permanent Location: UK-wide / Various Sites The Opportunity Our client is a busy and growing business operating within the retail and commercial installation sector, with plenty of work already secured and a strong pipeline of projects ahead. We are currently recruiting for an experienced Joiner / Fitter to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a great opportunity for a skilled and reliable tradesperson looking for long-term job security, good earning potential and regular work. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out high-quality joinery, fitting and installation work across a variety of retail and commercial projects. The Role Your responsibilities will include: • Carrying out joinery, fitting and installation work to a high standard., • Installing fixtures, fittings, furniture and bespoke elements., • Working from drawings, plans and specifications., • Ensuring projects are completed accurately and within agreed timescales., • Working independently and as part of an installation team., • Maintaining a high standard of workmanship and attention to detail., • Resolving any fitting or installation issues on site., • Working safely and following site requirements., • Representing the client professionally when working on customer sites., • Travelling to various sites as required. About You The ideal candidate will have: • Previous experience as a Joiner, Fitter, Shopfitter or similar., • Strong practical and carpentry/joinery skills., • Experience working on-site and completing installations., • The ability to read and work from drawings and specifications., • Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship., • A professional and reliable approach., • The ability to work independently and as part of a team., • Flexibility to travel to different sites., • Relevant qualifications are advantageous, although proven experience and practical ability are the key requirements.
