Job Title: Weekend Chef / Kitchen Assistant Location: The Duke Of Richmond. 316 queensbridge rd, E83NH Hours: 25–30 hours per week (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour About the Role We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Chef to join our kitchen team on weekends. This role involves supporting the Head Chef with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining smooth kitchen operations. The successful candidate will also be expected to assist with Kitchen Porter (KP) duties to help keep the kitchen clean, organised, and compliant with hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities • Assist the Head Chef with food preparation and cooking., • Support daily kitchen operations during busy service periods., • Ensure food is prepared and presented to a high standard., • Carry out Kitchen Porter duties, including washing dishes, cleaning equipment, and maintaining kitchen cleanliness., • Follow food safety, hygiene, and health & safety regulations., • Help with stock rotation and general kitchen organisation., • Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Requirements • Previous experience working in a kitchen environment., • Ability to work efficiently under pressure., • Good understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety practices., • Positive attitude and strong work ethic., • Flexible and reliable with weekend availability.
