Customer Service Administrator Part-Time | Permanent 24 Hours per Week (Wednesday to Friday) Salary: £16,824 per annum (pro rata) About the Role We are looking for a highly organised and customer-focused Customer Service Administrator to join our Technical Operations team on a part-time permanent basis. Working Wednesday to Friday, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth coordination of customer orders, transport operations, and communication between customers, carriers, subcontractors, warehouse teams, and internal departments. Key Responsibilities Deliver outstanding customer service at all times Process and load customer orders onto internal systems Maintain spreadsheets and system records accurately Build positive relationships with customers, carriers, and subcontractors Keep customers informed on the progress of jobs and deliveries Track the movement of goods and resolve operational queries Liaise closely with Operations, Accounts, and Warehouse teams Ensure accurate completion and closure of job files Obtain and upload PODs, purchase orders, and related documentation Assist with invoice queries, customer complaints, and claims Ensure paperwork and system housekeeping are maintained to a high standard Escalate issues appropriately where required About You We are seeking someone who is: Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Confident communicating with customers and colleagues Able to multitask and prioritise effectively Calm and focused under pressure Proactive with a positive, can-do attitude A strong team player with excellent time management skills Skills & Experience Essential Previous experience in customer service and administration Good written and verbal communication skills Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office, email, spreadsheets, and databases Good numeracy and literacy skills Ability to manage multiple tasks accurately and efficiently Desirable • Experience within transport, logistics, or freight forwarding, • Additional European language skills Qualifications • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) Working Hours & Benefits • Wednesday to Friday, • 24 hours per week, • 07:00 – 15:30, • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays (pro rata) Health & Safety The successful candidate will be expected to: • Follow all company Health & Safety policies and procedures, • Maintain high standards of health and safety awareness, • Support colleagues and contractors in adhering to company H&S standards
