Perks and Benefits • Full-Time Hours: Consistent working pattern for stability and structure., • Competitive Hourly Pay: £38.26 per hour for your expertise and commitment., • Locum Flexibility: Enjoy the freedom and adaptability that locum work provides., • Professional Growth: Expand your experience working within a diverse and complex borough., • Networking Opportunities: Engage with a variety of statutory and voluntary sector partners.Key Responsibilities / What You Will Do, • Provide timely assessments and personalised care solutions for adults and carers with non-complex needs., • Assess incoming referrals in line with eligibility criteria and identify appropriate support pathways., • Arrange and coordinate social care services promptly and effectively., • Work closely with statutory bodies, voluntary organisations, and community partners to enhance service provision., • Participate in service and team development initiatives., • Maintain accurate, comprehensive case records and utilise departmental IT systems effectively., • Stay up-to-date with national and local legislation, standards, and policies to support resident independence and choice., • Attend supervisory meetings and escalate urgent or complex cases when necessary., • Promote independence and maximise service-user capabilities through tailored interventions., • Engage with the Adult Social Care information available on the RBKC website., • Involve service users and carers in ongoing monitoring and evaluation of services., • Uphold departmental standards, confidentiality, safeguarding duties, and equal-opportunities principles., • Undertake any additional tasks necessary for effective delivery of social services.Requirements / Candidate CriteriaEssential, • Qualified Social Worker with recognised Social Work qualification., • Registration with Social Work England., • Experience within adult social care services., • Strong assessment, care-planning, and organisational skills., • Knowledge of adult safeguarding, Care Act principles, and relevant legislation., • Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.Desirable, • Experience supporting adults with complex needs in a local authority setting.
