Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Operations to oversee and optimise our Qantas Premium Lounge . The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing day-to-day, operational processes and improvements to ensure a seamless operation. Duties: The role is responsible for ensuring a high level of customer service at all times and responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Heathrow Lounges operated by Qantas, through effective service levels. Providing total guest satisfaction with all guests and airline staff you come into contact with. Ensure the established policies, procedures and compliance training of the operation are delivered and maintained to the highest standard, through consultation with the Operations Manager. This position reports to Operations Manager in the AAPC Lounge and be the representative in the absence of the Operations Manager. Qualifications: Minimum 5 years experience in a customer service, preferably luxury. Strong knowledge of Customer service within an airline or hospitality environment. A thorough commitment to providing exceptional service and exceeding guest expectations. Uses leadership skills to maintain an effective work group. Ability to handle and resolve conflict effectively. Projects professional image at all times through personal presentation / interpersonal skills. Must be immaculately groomed. Initiates contacts and establishes rapport easily. Asserts point of view directly yet tactfully. Organizes time and work efficiently. Effective numeracy, verbal and written communication skills. Has the ability and willingness to undertake further development. Self-motivated and ability to work as a part of and lead a team. Willingness to work weekends and public holidays as part of the job role.
