The role in a nutshell (apart from the fact that we are nut-free!) With exciting growth plans in full swing, we’re looking for a National Account Manager who is hungry to grow sales across retail, e-commerce, foodservice, and export channels. This role is hands-on, fast-moving and perfect for someone with 3-5 years sales experience who is ready to step up, take ownership and make a visible impact in a small, ambitious business. You’ll build relationships, spot opportunities, pitch with passion, and deliver brilliant execution; all while juggling the sweet chaos of SME life. No huge data lakes here… you’ll be crafting compelling customer stories with smart thinking, great insight and a whole lot of creativity. What we need you to do Grow & manage retail, e-commerce, foodservice and export accounts • Deliver annual sales targets across multiple channels, • Build strong relationships with buyers, distributors and partners, • Identify opportunities to grow distribution, visibility and rate of sale, • Maintain accurate forecasts and support smooth operational delivery, • Turn limited data into compelling customer stories, • Create engaging proposals, presentations and sell-ins, • Use category insight, shopper behaviour and brand values to add punch to your pitch, • Confidently present NPD, seasonal plans and commercial proposals Execute brilliantly across every customer touchpoint • Prepare promotional plans and track performance, • Ensure activation plans land in store and online, • Work cross-functionally to deliver customer requirements Support export growth (Europe, Middle East, US) • Assist with distributor onboarding, pricing, samples and product information, • Help build customer-specific plans and identify market opportunities Keep Sweet Freedom at the front of the shelf (the dream!) • Monitor competitor activity and market trends, • Manage retailer systems, portals and product information, • New business outreach and pipeline development with support from MD where required, • Create opportunities with limited media spend What we want you to bring to the party Essentials • 3-5 years’ experience in a sales or national account role (retail essential; e-comm, FS and export desirable), • Experience working in an SME; resourceful, hands-on, independent, • Ability to build great customer relationships and pitch confidently, • Commercial understanding (pricing, promos, margin, forecasting), • Strong organisational skills with a love of detail, • Comfortable creating customer stories without deep data sets, • A positive, proactive, solutions-first approach Bonus points • Experience working with export markets (Europe, Middle East, US), • Experience of working in blue chip FMCG, • Foodservice or QSR customer experience, • Online grocery or marketplace sales experience, • Category insights or data interpretation skills, • Experience in plant-based or health-focused food brands How you will fit in our business We’re looking for someone who’s naturally upbeat, curious and proactive.
