Your Mission as a SEND Teaching Assistant: ?? 1:1 Support Hero Provide individualised support to pupils, particularly those on the autistic spectrum and those with SEMH needs. ?? Learning Partner Make learning accessible, engaging, and fun in a safe and structured environment. ?? Behaviour Champion Use positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques to promote focus and calm. ?? Confidence Builder Empower pupils to grow in independence, confidence, and self-esteem. ?? Have experience working with children or young people with additional needs in either school or care settings. ? Are calm, empathetic, and able to communicate effectively with pupils and staff. ? Understand the importance of creating a nurturing, inclusive learning environment. ? Have a valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or are willing to apply for one). ?
