Working across a varied range of manufacturing equipment, you'll diagnose faults, complete planned maintenance and help improve machinery reliability within a busy manufacturing environment. Working Hours & BenefitsAlternating ShiftsWeek 1\n\n • Monday – Thursday: 6:00am – 2:00pm\n, • Friday: 6:00am – 11:00am\nWeek 2\n\n, • Monday – Thursday: 2:00pm – 10:00pm\n, • Friday: 11:00am – 4:00pm\nBenefits include:\n\n, • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays\n, • Stakeholder Pension Scheme (up to 10% employer contribution)\n, • Life Assurance (4x salary)\n, • Permanent Health Insurance (PHI)\n, • Subsidised canteen\n, • Discounted gym membership\n, • Employee Assistance Programme\n, • Discounts across hundreds of UK retailers\n, • Free onsite parking\nKey Responsibilities\n\n, • Diagnose, fault-find and repair manufacturing equipment\n, • Respond to production breakdowns safely and effectively\n, • Complete preventative maintenance and equipment improvements\n, • Interpret electrical, pneumatic and mechanical drawings\n, • Work across both legacy and modern manufacturing machinery\n, • Maintain accurate maintenance records using CMMS\n, • Support continuous improvement initiatives\n, • Promote high standards of safety and housekeeping\nEssential Experience & Qualifications\n\n, • Time served engineering apprenticeship\n, • Minimum ONC, City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent\n, • At least two years' manufacturing maintenance experience\n, • Strong electrical and/or mechanical fault-finding skills\n, • PLC fault-finding experience\n, • Experience maintaining production machinery\n, • Root cause analysis and reliability improvement experience\n, • Able to work independently or within a team\nRequired Skills\n\n, • Excellent diagnostic and analytical skills\n, • Logical approach to troubleshooting\n, • Strong understanding of electrical and/or mechanical systems\n, • Safe systems of work and isolation procedures\n, • Good communication and organisational skills\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a world-class manufacturer where you'll work on a wide variety of machinery, develop your technical expertise and play a key role in keeping production running efficiently.
